रानीपोखरी पुलिस द्वारा शान्तिनगर में क्म्यूनिटी मैस प्रारम्भ कर झुग्गी झोपडी में रहने वाले 146 निर्धन व्यक्तियो/ बच्चों को खाना खिलाया गया। रानीपोखरी में जाखन नदी के किनारे यूपी के काफी परिवार फंसे हुए हैं।
जिन्हे अपने घर जाने का इंतजार है। लेकिन लॉक डाउन के कारण फिलहाल किसी को भी कहीं जाने की अनुमति नहीं है। जिस कारण इन गरीब परिवारों का पुलिस पूरा ध्यान रख रही है।
इसी कारण 146 निर्धन महिला/पुरुष/बच्चों को चिन्हित किया गया। और शान्तिनगर कम्यूनिटी मैस स्थापित कर कोरोना वायरस के संक्रमण को दृष्टिगत रखते हुये सोशल डिस्टेन्स का पालन कराते हुये भोजन (पुरी/आलू की सब्जी/खीर/मिठाई) खिलाया गया।
लोगों की मदद करने को डोईवाला और रानीपोखरी पुलिस अपने स्तर से हर संभव प्रयास कर रहे हैं। जिसमें उन्हे लोगों का भी सहयोग मिल रहा है।
