शहीदों के परिजनों को किया सम्मानित तो छलक पडे आंसू
डोईवाला। डोईवाला में दो स्थानों पर दो शहीद द्वार का लोकार्पण किया गया। इस मौके पर शहीदों के परिजनों को भी सम्मानित किया गया।
भंगलाना में शहीद मनोज नेगी द्वार और कालूवाला में शहीद नरेंद्र धमांदा द्वार का लोकार्पण शहीदों के परिजनों से करवाया गया। दोनों शहीद द्वार को जिला पंचायत सदस्य टीना सिंह ने राज्य योजना से कुल तीन लाख की लागत से बनवाया है।
लोकार्पण के बाद शहीदों के परिजनों को शॉल ओढाकर सम्मानित किया गया। जिला पंचायत सदस्य ने कहा कि शहीदों की शहादत को कभी भुलाया नहीं जा सकता है। उनके परिजनों के लिए सभी को मिलकर कार्य करना चाहिए। कांग्रेस जिलाध्यक्ष गौरव चौधरी ने कहा कि शहीदों के नाम से उस क्षेत्र के स्कूलों और सड़कों का नाम किया जाना चाहिए।
कार्यक्रम में 1999 में कारगिल में शहीद हुए बड़ोवाला निवासी शहीद जगत सिंह की पत्नी और विक्रम सिंह की माता को शॉल ओढाकर सम्मानित किया गया। कार्यक्रम में शहीदों को श्रद्धा-सुमन भी अर्पित किए गए। इस अवसर पर मनोज नौटियाल, ग्राम प्रधान जयप्रकाश जोशी, लक्ष्मी कुडियाल, कुलदीप शाही, विजय पुण्डीर, प्रदीप कंडवाल, प्रमोद कुमार, आनंद नेगी, रविंद्र सोलंकी, देवेंद्र सिंधवाल, कुंदन नेगी, विनोद आदि उपस्थित रहे।
पिता के शहीद होने के बाद एकलौता बेटा भी सेना में गया
डोईवाला। बड़ोवाला निवासी बिशम्बरी देवी ने कहा कि उनका एकलौता बेटा विक्रम सिंह (22) कारगिल में शहीद हो गया था। तब शहीद की पत्नी गर्भवती थी। कुछ समय बाद उनका पोता पैदा हुआ। बड़ी मुश्किल से शहीद विक्रम की पत्नी और बेटे को पाला। इंटर पास करते ही उनका इकलौता पोता भी सेना में भर्ती हो गया। उन्हे गर्व है कि उनके बच्चे देश के काम आ रहे हैं।
