मैराथन में काजल और जॉनी को चैंपियन का खिताब

देहरादून। डोईवाला में सरदार पटेल की जयंती पर पहली बार आयोजित मैराथन दौड़ में शक्तिवाला की काजल लोधी को चैंपियन का खिताब दिया गया। वहीं लिस्ट्राबाद रानीपोखरी के जॉनी ने भी बेहतर प्रदर्शन किया।

रन फ़ॉर यूनिटी मे डोईवाला की जनता ने जोश और उत्साह दिखाते हुए भाग लिया। मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में कार्यक्रम में आए मुख्यमंत्री के ओएसडी धीरेन्द्र पंवार ने सभी विजेताओ को शानदार ट्रॉफी और प्रमाण पत्र देकर सम्मानित किया। मैराथन मे पुरुष और महिलाओं की मैराथन हुई जिसमें 600 प्रतिभागियों ने भाग लिया। लिस्ट्राबाद रानीपोखरी के जॉनी  और महिलाओं में शत्तिवाला की काजल लोधी चैम्पियन बनी। जिन्हे मुख्य अतिथि धीरेन्द्र पंवार ने चैम्पियन ट्रॉफी दी। इसके बाद सभी विजेता और उप विजेताओं को भी पुरुष्कार देकर प्रतिभागियो का सम्मान किया गया।

दून घाटी कॉलेज प्रेमनगर द्वारा मैराथन का आयोजन किया गया। आयोजक विजेंद्र चौहान ने कहा कि संस्थान की तरफ से ये पहला प्रयास था। सरदार वल्लभभाई पटेल को लौह पुरुष कहा जाता है। उनके बारे में युवा पीढी को उनके बारे में पता होना चाहिए। इस अवसर पर भाजपा जिलाध्यक्ष देहरादून शमशेर पुन्डीर, कांग्रेस नेता मोहित उनियाल, संदीप पाल, कमल सिंह, महेश लखेड़ा आदि उपस्थित रहे।
